I provide a sense of safety, comfort, and reassurance that helps clients show up as their true selves, without fear of judgement. My approach to therapy is warm and supportive, while gently challenging my clients to dig deeper as needed. The therapeutic alliance is a collaboration, and while I am here to guide you and provide skills, YOU are the expert in your experiences and together, we will work to unlock the keys to your success.
TREATMENT MODALITIES: I firmly believe there is no "one size fits all" treatment modality when it comes to therapy. I utilize a range of different techniques depending on the individual needs of the client.
I most often incorporate: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and DBT. For clients who have experienced trauma or past hurt, I typically incorporate EMDR, Brainspotting, TF-CBT, (if 17 or younger), and/or Dr. McBride's five-step recovery model for survivors of narcissistic abuse.
Together we will determine what may be most appropriate for your unique situation as we work together, develop rapport, and discuss treatment options.
